Instagram now has over 400 million monthly active users

Less than a month ago, Facebook’s Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg shared the milestone the social network did hit – one billion daily users.

Just this morning, it’s photo sharing service, Instagram announced a new milestone this morning – it now has over 400 million monthly active users, with 75 percent of those users from outside the U.S.


This news is also coming less than a year after the photo sharing company amassed 300 million monthly active users. According to the announcement, 50 percent of the added 100 million access its service within Europe and Asia with Brazil, Indonesia and Japan been the countries that added the most new Instagrammers.
