Security software company, ESET to launch in Kenya


ESET, a global leader in security software for over 25 years has announced the launching of its operations in Kenya.

With the launch, ESET aims to provide a comprehensive suite of security solutions to protect the growing online community in Kenya, estimated to be 26 million, from cybercrime, thereby enabling both individuals and businesses to explore the internet and conduct business freely.


ESET distributes its products and services via ‘Authorized Partnerships’ and are actively seeking Kenyan technology businesses to join their growing partner network.

To keeps clients protected and businesses running smoothly, ESET’s East African partners will undergo training and will work together with its multi-lingual international customer support centres.

“We believe that Kenya is key to growth in East Africa. It has a truly unique, vibrant business culture that we are proud to be becoming a part of,” said Bruce Donovan, East African Area Manager.

He further said, “Together with our partners, we aim to make ESET the internet security brand for businesses and consumers in Kenya – and eventually across East Africa.”

ESET’s worldwide strategy includes building strong partner relationships and developing sales channels, and the launch of its operations in Kenya is in line with that strategy.

ESET, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Bratislava, Slovakia, is an IT security company providing complex security solutions for computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets and servers running on any operating, used worldwide by individuals and businesses.
